ELMAG service: Tips for users of DIA-discs:

closed cutting border:	for clean, smooth cuts, f.i. tiles
open cutting border:	a) toothed, for hard clinker, artificial stones etc. b) segmented, for granite, concrete, construction material, chamotte etc.
Building of the disc:	The cutting border is sintered on the disc (consisting of a multi-layer steel core). This means that it is fused under high pressure and heat with the disc. Most expensive, but best method. Advantages: The full height of the cutting border can be used and when operated properly the discs cannot overheat during the dry cutting process!
Diamond grain:	FUBAG DIA-discs (complete range of products available from ELMAG) are only constructed with synthetic diamonds. They can be 8 times more expensive but have the advantage that form and grain size do never change! long tool life with constant high quality!

Problems:	The diamond disc does not cut properly?
Reason:	You use the wrong diamond disc (fixation too hard)?
Solution:	Cut sandstone or similar materials, the fixation wears out and the diamond starts biting again.
