What are the effects of STEAM-CURING? An evaporation at 500°C provokes a controlled oxidation. This produces an iron oxide layer (Fe3O4) on the surface of the saw blade and thus enhances the sliding properties and protects the blade from corrosion. Moreover it removes tensions inside the blade which lowers the risk of fracture and prolongs the service life considerably. |
